MPCR Undergraduates Won Awards at FAU's WAVE Entrepreneurial Research Competition!

Two MPCR students won Florida Atlantic University’s Wave Competition undergraduate research competition.
Wave is an annual entrepreneurial research competition organized by Florida Atlantic University’s Tech Runway and the Division of Research. Students receive seed funding and mentorship by the Division of Research for two semesters to develop innovative projects turning their ideas from concept to reality.
Evita Conway won First Place with a $1,500 prize for her project: “Developing a model for mood disorder classification using eye movements”. Stephen Hoover won Third Place with a $500 prize for his project: “Machine olfaction using deep learning artificial neural networks”
