The Great AI Weirding — Interdisciplinary Workshop in Deerfield Beach

The Center for the Future of AI, Mind and Society hosted “The Great AI Weirding” in Deerfield Beach — an interdisciplinary workshop exploring questions at the frontiers of science, philosophy, and emerging technology.

Conversations spanned quantum mechanics and life, xenobiology, non-human intelligence, and the nature of both natural and artificial minds. Speakers included Ben Goertzel, Stuart Hameroff, Gabriel Axel Montes, Anirban Bandyopadhyay, William Hahn, Susan Schneider, and others.

Set against the backdrop of the Atlantic coast, the workshop created space for bold ideas, intellectual risk-taking, and new research directions that cross traditional disciplinary boundaries.

Recordings from the workshop will be released soon.
