Prof. Dumas, Associate Professor of Computational Psychiatry at the Universite de Montreal and Principal Investigator at the CHU Sainte-Justine Azrieli Research Center, will examine how inter-brain synchronization during social interaction can inform the development of more socially adaptive and cooperative AI systems. His work spans psychiatry, embodiment, and consciousness, with over 150 peer-reviewed publications on how social interaction shapes cognition and mental health.
These events are open to the community and organized by Dr. William Hahn and Dr. Natalia Romero. Lectures bring together researchers, educators, and practitioners to engage with current developments in AI, neuroscience, and learning.
