Synesthesia, Language, and Perception Salon at FAU Sandbox
The Gruber AI Sandbox hosted an interdisciplinary lecture salon on the cognitive and philosophical connections between synesthesia, language, and perception, featuring Ekkolapto founder Addy Cha with special guests Dr. Will Hahn, Misha Klopukh, and Michael Ostroff.
Cha presented research on the fundamental similarities between language, synesthesia, and perception — including unconventional languages that induce states of synesthesia, such as a temporal and olfactory language inspired by dogs.
